الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever does a good deed to be seen by people, Allah too will expose his disgrace to people on the Day of Resurrection; and whoever acts to show off, Allah too will (only) show him (the reward) (but will not give it, so that he is left with nothing but regret upon regret)."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جو شخص لوگوں کو سنانے کے لئے نیک کام کرے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ بھی قیامت کے دن اس کی ذلت لوگوں کو سنائے گا اور جو شخص ریاکاری کرے گا اللہ تعالیٰ بھی اس کو (صرف ثواب) دکھلائے گا (مگر دے گا نہیں تاکہ اسے صرف حسرت ہی حسرت ہو)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2090]
