الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Between the two blasts of the Trumpet there will be an interval of forty." The people asked: "O Abu Hurayra, forty days?" He said: "I do not say so." Then they asked: "Forty months?" He said: "I do not say so." Then they asked: "Forty years?" He said: "I do not say so. (Meaning: I do not know the exact number.)" Then a rain will fall from the sky and the people will grow up from it as vegetation grows. He said: There is nothing in a man's body but that it decays, except one bone, and that is the tailbone (coccyx). From this bone the people will be recreated on the Day of Resurrection. (Nawawi, may Allah have mercy on him, said that the prophets are excepted from this, for Allah has forbidden the earth to consume their bodies.)
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: صور کے دونوں پھونکوں کے درمیان میں چالیس کا فاصلہ ہو گا۔ لوگوں نے کہا کہ اے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ! چالیس دن کا؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نہیں کہتا۔ پھر لوگوں نے کہا کہ چالیس مہینے کا؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نہیں کہتا۔ پھر لوگوں نے کہا کہ چالیس برس کا؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نہیں کہتا۔ (یعنی مجھے اس کا تعین معلوم نہیں ہے) پھر آسمان سے ایک پانی برسے گا، اس سے لوگ ایسے اگ آئیں گے جیسے سبزہ اگ آتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ آدمی کے بدن میں کوئی چیز ایسی نہیں جو گل نہ جائے، مگر ایک ہڈی اور وہ ریڑھ کی ہڈی ہے۔ اسی ہڈی سے قیامت کے دن لوگ پیدا ہوں گے۔ (نووی رحمہ اللہ نے کہا کہ اس میں سے پیغمبر مستثنیٰ ہیں کہ ان کے جسموں کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے زمین پر حرام کر دیا ہے)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2066]
