It is narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) related to us a long hadith concerning the Dajjal, and in it he also stated that it will be forbidden for the Dajjal to enter the mountain passes of Medina, and that he will come to a stony ground near Medina. Then a man will go out to him who will be the best of all people, and he will say, "I bear witness that you are the very Dajjal of whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) spoke in his hadith." The Dajjal will say to the people, "Tell me, if I kill this man and then bring him back to life, will you have any doubt about this?" They will say, "No." The Dajjal will kill the man and then bring him back to life. So when he brings him back to life, the man will say, "By Allah! I never had as much certainty about you before as I have now (that is, now I am certain that you are the Dajjal)." Then the Dajjal will wish to kill him, but will not be able to kill him. The narrator Abu Ishaq said: This man is al-Khidr (peace be upon him). (But this is not established; rather, the proofs testify that al-Khidr, peace be upon him, has passed away.)
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہہم سے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے دجال کے ذکر میں ایک لمبی حدیث بیان کی اور اس میں یہ بھی بیان کیا کہ اس پر مدینہ کی گھاٹی میں گھسنا حرام ہو گا اور وہ مدینہ کے قریب ایک پتھریلی زمین پر آئے گا۔ پھر اس کے پاس ایک شخص جائے گا جو سب لوگوں میں بہتر ہو گا، وہ کہے گا کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ تو وہی دجال ہے جس کا ذکر جناب رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنی حدیث میں کیا ہے۔ دجال لوگوں سے کہے گا کہ بھلا اگر میں اس کو مار ڈالوں، پھر زندہ کر دوں تو کیا تمہیں اس بارے میں کچھ شک رہے گا؟ وہ کہیں گے کہ نہیں۔ دجال اس شخص کو قتل کرے گا اور پھر اس کو زندہ کر دے گا۔ پس جب وہ اس کو زندہ کرے گا تو کہے گا کہ اللہ کی قسم! مجھے پہلے تیرے بارے میں اتنا یقین نہ تھا جتنا اب ہے۔ (یعنی اب تو یقین ہو گیا کہ تو دجال ہے) پھر دجال اس کو قتل کرنا چاہے گا لیکن قتل نہ کر سکے گا۔ راوی ابواسحٰق نے کہا کہ یہ آدمی خضر علیہ السلام ہیں۔ (لیکن یہ ثابت نہیں ہے بلکہ دلائل اس پر شاہد ہیں کہ خضر علیہ السلام وفات پا چکے ہیں)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2049]
