Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when he said, "Is any of you unable to earn a thousand good deeds each day?" One of those sitting with him (peace be upon him) said, "How can any of us earn a thousand good deeds?" He (peace be upon him) said: "If he says 'SubhanAllah' (Glory be to Allah) a hundred times, a thousand good deeds will be recorded for him and a thousand of his sins will be erased."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس تھے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: کیا تم میں سے کوئی ہر روز ہزار نیکیاں کرنے سے عاجز ہے؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس بیٹھنے والوں میں سے ایک شخص نے کہا کہ ہم میں سے کوئی ہزار نیکیاں کس طرح کرے گا؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ سو بار ((”سبحان اللہ“)) کہے تو ہزار نیکیاں اس کے لئے لکھی جائیں گی اور اس کے ہزار گناہ مٹائے جائیں گے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1909]
