It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to recite this supplication at times of hardship (and difficulty): "There is no true god except Allah, the Great, the Forbearing. There is no true god except Allah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no true god except Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, and the Lord of the Noble Throne."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسختی (اور مشکل) کی وقت یہ دعا پڑھتے:”اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کوئی سچا معبود نہیں ہے جو بڑی عظمت والا بردبار ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی سچا معبود نہیں ہے جو بڑے عرش کا مالک ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی سچا معبود نہیں ہے جو آسمان، زمین اور عزت والے عرش کا مالک ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1876]
