Narrated al-Aswad: Some young men of Quraysh went to Aishah al-Siddiqah, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), while she was in Mina, and they were laughing. Aishah al-Siddiqah, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), asked, "Why are you laughing?" They said, "So-and-so fell over a tent rope and his neck or eye nearly perished." Aishah al-Siddiqah, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), said, "Do not laugh, for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, 'If a Muslim is pricked by a thorn or afflicted by anything greater, a rank is raised for him and a sin of his is erased.'"
الترجمة الأردية
اسود کہتے ہیں کہقریش کے چند نوجوان ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس گئے جبکہ وہ منیٰ میں تھیں اور وہ لوگ ہنس رہے تھے۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے پوچھا کہ تم کیوں ہنستے ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ فلاں شخص خیمہ کی طناب پر گرا اور اس کی گردن یا آنکھ جاتے جاتے بچی۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ مت ہنسو اس لئے کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اگر مسلمان کو ایک کانٹا لگے یا اس سے زیادہ کوئی دکھ پہنچے تو اس کے لئے ایک درجہ بڑھے گا اور ایک گناہ اس کا مٹ جائے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1797]
