Narrated Sulayman ibn Surad (may Allah be pleased with him): Two men reviled each other in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). One of them became angry and his face turned red. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I know a phrase which, if this man were to say it, his anger would go away. That phrase is: 'A'udhu billahi min al-shaytan al-rajim' (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan)." One of those who heard this from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went and told it to the man (who had become angry), but he said, "Do you consider me a madman?"
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا سلیمان بن صرد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہدو آدمیوں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سامنے گالی گلوچ کی۔ ان میں سے ایک آدمی غصے میں آ گیا اور اس کا چہرہ سرخ ہو گیا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ مجھے ایک کلمہ معلوم ہے کہ اگر یہ شخص اس کو کہے تو اس کا غصہ جاتا رہے۔ وہ کلمہ یہ ہے ((اعوذ بااﷲ من الشّیطٰن الرّجیم)) رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سننے والوں میں سے ایک شخص نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے یہ سن کر جا کر اس شخص سے بیان کیا (جو غصہ ہوا تھا) تو وہ بولا کہ کیا تو مجھے مجنون سمجھتا ہے؟[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1792]
