الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sayyiduna Amir bin Sa'd said: I heard my father (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: I did not hear the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say of any living person who walks about that he is in Paradise, except of Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him). (This is his own knowledge; otherwise many Companions received glad tidings of Paradise, such as the ten given glad tidings, and others.)
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عامر بن سعد کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے اپنے والد رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا وہ کہتے تھے کہ میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کسی زندہ شخص کے لئے جو چلتا پھرتا ہو، یہ نہیں سنا کہ وہ جنت میں ہے مگر عبداللہ بن سلام رضی اللہ عنہ کے لئے۔ (یہ ان کی اپنی معلومات ہیں ورنہ بہت سے صحابہ کرام کو جنت کی خوشخبری ملی ہے مثلاً عشرہ مشبرہ وغیرہ)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1698]
