Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was passing by when my mother, Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her), heard his voice and said: May my mother and father be sacrificed for you (peace be upon him); this is little Anas. So he (peace be upon him) made three supplications for me. Two I have already attained in this world, and for the one I hope in the Hereafter.

سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمگزر رہے تھے کہ میری ماں ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی آواز سنی تو کہنے لگی کہ میرے ماں باپ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر قربان ہوں، یہ چھوٹا انس ہے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے میرے لئے تین دعائیں کیں۔ دو تو میں دنیا میں پا چکا اور ایک کی آخرت میں امید رکھتا ہوں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1685]
