Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far said: I heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in Kufa saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: Of all the women (within the heavens and the earth), Maryam bint Imran is the most excellent, and of all the women (within the heavens and the earth), Khadija bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her) is the most excellent. Abu Kurayb said that Waki' gestured toward the heaven and the earth.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عبداللہ بن جعفر کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے کوفہ میں سنا وہ کہتے تھے کہ میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ (آسمان و زمین کے اندر) جتنی عورتیں ہیں سب میں مریم بنت عمران افضل ہیں اور (آسمان اور زمین کے اندر) جتنی عورتیں ہیں سب میں خدیجہ بنت خویلد رضی اللہ عنہا افضل ہیں۔ ابوکریب نے کہا کہ وکیع نے آسمان و زمین کی طرف اشارہ کیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1670]
