Narrated Aisha the Truthful, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her): The pure wives of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah be pleased with them) sent his daughter Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her) to him. She sought permission, while he (peace be upon him) was lying with me under my cloak. He (peace be upon him) gave permission, and she said, "O Messenger of Allah, your pure wives have sent me to you; they wish that you would treat them justly regarding the daughter of Abu Quhafah (that is, that you would keep for them the same love you have for her; and this was not within his control, though in all matters he, peace be upon him, did deal justly)," while I was silent. He (peace be upon him) said, "O my daughter, do you not love what I love?" She said, "O Messenger of Allah, I love only what you love." He (peace be upon him) said, "Then love Aisha." As soon as she heard this, Fatimah got up and went to the pure wives and told them her words and the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). They said, "We think you were of no use to us; so go again to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and say that his wives seek justice in the case of the daughter of Abu Quhafah" (Abu Quhafah was the father of Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, and so the grandfather of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, and one may attribute a person to the grandfather). Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "By Allah, I will never now speak to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about the case of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)." Aisha the Truthful, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "At last his wives sent Zaynab bint Jahsh, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). She was the one who rivaled me in rank in his esteem, and I never saw a woman more religious, more fearful of Allah, more truthful in speech, more mindful of kinship, and more charitable than her, nor any woman who exerted herself more in the affairs of Allah and in charity, except that she had a sharpness (that is, a temper); but she would quickly turn back from it and reconcile and become remorseful. She sought permission from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) gave permission in the same state, with him under my cloak, in which Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her) had come. She said, 'O Messenger of Allah, your wives seek justice in the case of the daughter of Abu Quhafah.' Then, saying this, she turned upon me and spoke sharply, while I was watching the eyes of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to see whether he would permit me to reply. Until I realized that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would not object to my replying, then I too turned upon her, and in a short while I silenced her or overcame her. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) smiled and said, 'She is indeed the daughter of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) (not the daughter of just anyone, that she would be cowed by you).'" ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ازواج مطہرات رضی اللہ عنہن نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی صاحبزادی سیدہ فاطمۃالزہراء رضی اللہ عنہا کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس بھیجا۔ انہوں نے اجازت مانگی، اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممیرے ساتھ میری چادر میں لیٹے ہوئے تھے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اجازت دی تو انہوں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! کیا تو وہ نہیں چاہتی جو میں چاہوں؟ وہ بولیں کہ یا رسول اللہ! میں تو وہی چاہتی ہوں جو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمچاہیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تو عائشہ سے محبت رکھ۔ یہ سنتے ہی فاطمہ اٹھیں اور ازواج مطہرات کے پاس گئیں اور ان سے جا کر اپنا کہنا اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا فرمانا بیان کیا۔ وہ کہنے لگیں کہ ہم سمجھتیں ہیں کہ تم ہمارے کچھ کام نہ آئیں، اس لئے پھر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس جاؤ اور کہو کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ازواج ابوقحافہ کی بیٹی کے مقدمہ میں انصاف چاہتی ہیں (ابوقحافہ سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے والد تھے تو عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے دادا ہوئے اور دادا کی طرف نسبت دے سکتے ہیں)۔ سیدہ فاطمۃالزہراء رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ اللہ کی قسم! میں تو اب عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے مقدمہ میں کبھی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے گفتگو نہ کروں گی۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ آخر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ازواج نے ام المؤمنین زینب بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہا کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس بھیجا اور میرے برابر کے مرتبہ میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سامنے وہی تھیں اور میں نے کوئی عورت ان سے زیادہ دیندار، اللہ سے ڈرنے والی، سچی بات کہنے والی، ناطہٰ جوڑنے والی اور خیرات کرنے والی نہیں دیکھی اور نہ ان سے بڑھ کر کوئی عورت اللہ تعالیٰ کے کام میں اور صدقہ میں اپنے نفس پر زور ڈالتی تھی، فقط ان میں ایک تیزی تھی (یعنی غصہ تھا) اس سے بھی وہ جلدی پھر جاتیں اور مل جاتیں اور نادم ہو جاتی تھیں۔ انہوں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے اجازت چاہی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اسی حال میں اجازت دی کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممیری چادر میں تھے، جس حال میں سیدہ فاطمۃالزہراء رضی اللہ عنہا آئی تھیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ازواج ابوقحافہ کی بیٹی کے مقدمہ میں انصاف چاہتی ہیں۔ پھر یہ کہہ کر مجھ پر آئیں اور زبان درازی کی اور میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی نگاہ کو دیکھ رہی تھی کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممجھے جواب دینے کی اجازت دیتے ہیں یا نہیں، یہاں تک کہ مجھے معلوم ہو گیا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجواب دینے سے برا نہیں مانیں گے، تب تو میں بھی ان پر آئی اور تھوڑی ہی دیر میں ان کو لاجواب کر دیا یا ان پر غالب آ گئی۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممسکرائے اور فرمایا کہ یہ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کی بیٹی ہے (کسی ایسے ویسے کی لڑکی نہیں جو تم سے دب جائے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1662]ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ازواج مطہرات رضی اللہ عنہن نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی صاحبزادی سیدہ فاطمۃالزہراء رضی اللہ عنہا کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس بھیجا۔ انہوں نے اجازت مانگی، اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممیرے ساتھ میری چادر میں لیٹے ہوئے تھے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اجازت دی تو انہوں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ازواج ابوقحافہ کی بیٹی کے مقدمہ میں انصاف چاہتی ہیں۔ پھر یہ کہہ کر مجھ پر آئیں اور زبان درازی کی اور میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی نگاہ کو دیکھ رہی تھی کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممجھے جواب دینے کی اجازت دیتے ہیں یا نہیں، یہاں تک کہ مجھے معلوم ہو گیا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجواب دینے سے برا نہیں مانیں گے، تب تو میں بھی ان پر آئی اور تھوڑی ہی دیر میں ان کو لاجواب کر دیا یا ان پر غالب آ گئی۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممسکرائے اور فرمایا کہ یہ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کی بیٹی ہے (کسی ایسے ویسے کی لڑکی نہیں جو تم سے دب جائے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1662]
