Narrated Urwah bin al-Zubayr: Aisha the Truthful, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her) said to me, "By Allah, your two fathers (that is, al-Zubayr and Abu Bakr) were among those mentioned in this verse, that is, 'Those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after they had been wounded.'" (Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, was Urwah's maternal grandfather, and al-Zubayr, may Allah be pleased with him, was his father; but a grandfather is also called a father.) And in one narration it is, "that is, Abu Bakr and al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both)." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1645]
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عروہ بن زبیر کہتے ہیں کہمجھے ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ اللہ کی قسم تمہارے دونوں باپ (یعنی زبیر اور ابوبکر) ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جن کا ذکر اس آیت میں ہے یعنی”جن لوگوں نے زخمی ہونے کے بعد بھی اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت کی (سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ عروہ کے نانا تھے اور سیدنا زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ باپ تھے۔ لیکن نانا کو بھی باپ کہتے ہیں)۔ اور ایک روایت میں ہے”یعنی ابوبکر اور زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما“۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1645]
