Narrated Hammam: Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) urinated, then performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks. The people said: "You do this?" He said: "Yes. I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) urinate, then perform ablution and wipe over both his leather socks." A'mash said that Ibrahim said: The people used to find this hadith very pleasing, because Jarir had become Muslim after the revelation of Surah al-Ma'idah (in which the washing of the feet in ablution is mentioned).
الترجمة الأردية
ہمام سے روایت ہے کہسیدنا جریر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پیشاب کیا، پھر وضو کیا اور موزوں پر مسح کیا۔ لوگوں نے کہا کہ تم ایسا کرتے ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا ہاں، میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو دیکھا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے پیشاب کیا، پھر وضو کیا اور دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا۔ اعمش نے کہا کہ ابراہیم نے کہا کہ لوگوں کو یہ حدیث بہت بھلی معلوم ہوتی تھی کیونکہ جریر سورۃ المائدہ (جس میں وضو میں پاؤں دھونے کا بیان ہے) کے اترنے کے بعد مسلمان ہوئے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 136]
