Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "It is obligatory upon a Muslim to listen and obey, whether he likes it or not, unless he is commanded to sin. If he is commanded to sin, then there is no listening and no obeying."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: مسلمان پر (حاکم کی بات کا) سننا اور ماننا واجب ہے خواہ اس کو پسند ہو یا نہ ہو مگر جب گناہ کا حکم کیا جائے، تو نہ سننا چاہئے نہ ماننا چاہئے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1226]
