It is narrated from Abdullah ibn Rabah that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Several groups traveled to Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) in the month of Ramadan. Abdullah ibn Rabah said: We would prepare food for one another, that is, we would host one another, and Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) would often invite us to his place. One day I said that I too should prepare food and invite everyone to my place, so I ordered food and in the evening I met Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Tonight there is a feast at my place." Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "You have spoken before me (that is, today I was going to give the feast)." I said, "Yes." Then I invited them all. Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O company of the Ansar! I will narrate to you a hadith concerning yourselves," then he mentioned the Conquest of Mecca. After that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came until he entered Mecca, and he sent Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) to one flank and Khalid ibn al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) to the other flank (that is, one to the right side and the other to the left side), and he made Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah the leader of those who had no armor. They went through the interior of the valley, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was in a group. He (peace be upon him) saw me and said, "Is it Abu Hurayrah?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah! I am present." He (peace be upon him) said, "Let none come to me but the Ansar," and a narrator other than Shayban added, "Call the Ansar to me." Because he (peace be upon him) had great trust in the Ansar, and they had no interest of their own with the people of Mecca, he (peace be upon him) considered it fitting to keep them. Then they all gathered around him (peace be upon him), and the Quraysh also gathered their groups and followers and said, "We will put them forward; if anything is gained, we are with them, and if any calamity comes, we will pay whatever is demanded of us." He (peace be upon him) said, "Do you see the groups of Quraysh and their followers?" Then he (peace be upon him) struck one hand upon the other (that is, strike the fighting disbelievers of Mecca and leave not one of them) and said, "Meet me at al-Safa." Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then we set off; whoever among us wished to kill any (disbeliever) would kill him, and no one confronted us, until Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! The group of Quraysh has been destroyed; from today there is no Quraysh." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever enters the house of Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) is safe." (This he (peace be upon him) said at the request of Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him), to honor him.) The Ansar began saying to one another, "Love of his homeland has come over him (that is, over the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)) and he has become gentle toward his kinsfolk." Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then revelation began to come, and when revelation came, we would recognize it, and while the revelation was descending, no one would raise his eyes toward him (peace be upon him) until the revelation ended. So when the revelation had ended, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "O people of the Ansar!" They said, "O Messenger of Allah! We are present." He (peace be upon him) said, "Did you say that love of his town has come over this man?" They said, "Indeed, this we did say." He (peace be upon him) said, "Never! I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger (and what you said, I came to know through revelation, but regard me only as the servant of Allah. As the Christians exalted Jesus (peace be upon him), do not exalt me thus). I migrated to Allah the Exalted and to you; now my life too is with you, and my death is with you." Hearing this, the Ansar came running and weeping and said, "By Allah, what we said we said only out of eagerness for Allah and His Messenger (that is, our intention was that you (peace be upon him) should not leave us and should remain in our very city)." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Indeed Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) affirm your truthfulness and accept your excuse." Then the people (to save their lives) went to the house of Abu Sufyan, and people shut their doors, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to the Black Stone and kissed it, then circumambulated the Ka'bah (although he (peace be upon him) was not in ihram, because there was a helmet on his (peace be upon him) head). Then he came to an idol placed on one side of the Ka'bah, which the people used to worship. In his (peace be upon him) hand was a bow, and he (peace be upon him) was holding its tip; when he came to the idol, he began jabbing at its eye and saying, "Truth has come and falsehood has vanished." When he finished the circumambulation, he came to Mount al-Safa and climbed it until he saw the Ka'bah, and raised both hands, then began praising Allah the Exalted and supplicating what Allah willed. الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عبداللہ بن رباح سے روایت ہے کہسیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ کئی جماعتیں سفر کر کے سیدنا معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس رمضان کے مہینہ میں گئیں۔ عبداللہ بن رباح نے کہا کہ ہم ایک دوسرے کے لئے کھانا تیار کرتے یعنی ایک دوسرے کی دعوت کرتے تھے اور سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ اکثر ہمیں اپنے مقام پر بلاتے۔ ایک دن میں نے کہا کہ میں بھی کھانا تیار کروں اور سب کو اپنے مقام پر بلاؤں، تو میں نے کھانے کا حکم دیا اور شام کو سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملا اور کہا کہ آج کی رات میرے یہاں دعوت ہے۔ سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ تو نے مجھ سے پہلے کہہ دیا (یعنی آج میں دعوت کرنے والا تھا)۔ میں نے کہا کہ ہاں۔ پھر میں نے ان سب کو بلایا۔ سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ اے انصار کے گروہ! میں تمہارے بارے میں ایک حدیث بیان کرتا ہوں پھر انہوں نے فتح مکہ کا ذکر کیا۔ اس کے بعد کہا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمآئے یہاں تک کہ مکہ میں داخل ہوئے اور ایک جانب پر سیدنا زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ کو بھیجا اور دوسری جانب پر سیدنا خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ کو (یعنی ایک کو دائیں طرف اور دوسرے کو بائیں طرف) اور سیدنا ابوعبیدہ بن الجراح کو ان لوگوں کا سردار کیا جن کے پاس زرہیں نہ تھیں، وہ گھاٹی کے اندر سے گئے اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمایک ٹکرے میں تھے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھے دیکھا تو فرمایا کیا ابوہریرہ؟ میں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میں حاضر ہوں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میرے پاس انصاری کے علاوہ کوئی نہ آئے اور شیبان کے علاوہ دوسرے راوی نے یہ اضافہ کیا کہ انصار کو میرے لئے پکارو۔ کیونکہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو انصار پر بہت اعتماد تھا اور ان کو مکہ والوں سے کوئی غرض بھی نہ تھی۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کا رکھنا مناسب جانا۔ پھر وہ سب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے گرد ہو گئے اور قریش نے بھی اپنے گروہ اور تابعدار اکٹھے کئے اور کہا ہم ان کو آگے کرتے ہیں اگر کچھ ملا تو ہم بھی ان کے ساتھ ہیں اور جو آفت آئی تو ہم سے جو مانگا جائے گا ہم دیدیں گے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تم قریش کی جماعتوں اور تابعداروں کو دیکھتے ہو۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ایک ہاتھ کو دوسرے پر مارا (یعنی مکہ کے لڑنے والے کافروں کو مارو اور ان میں سے ایک کو بھی نہ چھوڑو) اور فرمایا کہ تم مجھ سے صفا پر ملو۔ سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ پھر ہم چلے ہم میں سے جو کوئی کسی (کافر) کو مارنا چاہتا وہ مار ڈالتا اور کوئی ہمارا مقابلہ نہ کرتا، یہاں تک کہ ابوسفیان رضی اللہ عنہ آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ یا رسول اللہ! قریش کا گروہ تباہ ہو گیا، اب آج سے قریش نہ رہے۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جو شخص ابوسفیان رضی اللہ عنہ کے گھر چلا جائے اس کو امن ہے (یہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ابوسفیان رضی اللہ عنہ کی درخواست پر اس کو عزت دینے کو فرمایا) انصار ایک دوسرے سے کہنے لگے کہ ان کو (یعنی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو) اپنے وطن کی محبت آ گئی ہے اور اپنے کنبہ والوں پر نرم ہو گئے ہیں۔ سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ اور وحی آنے لگی اور جب وحی آنے لگتی تو ہمیں معلوم ہو جاتا تھا اور جب تک وحی اترتی رہتی تھی کوئی آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی طرف آنکھ نہ اٹھاتا تھا یہاں تک کہ وحی ختم ہو جاتی۔ غرض جب وحی ختم ہو چکی، تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے انصار کے لوگو! انہوں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! ہم حاضر ہیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تم نے یہ کہا کہ اس شخص کو اپنے گاؤں کی محبت آ گئی؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ بیشک یہ تو ہم نے کہا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ ہرگز نہیں میں اللہ کا بندہ اور اس کا رسول ہوں (اور جو تم نے کہا وہ وحی سے مجھے معلوم ہو گیا لیکن مجھے اللہ کا بندہ ہی سمجھنا۔ نصاریٰ نے جیسے عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کو بڑھا دیا ویسے بڑھا نہ دینا) میں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف اور تمہاری طرف ہجرت کی، اب میری زندگی بھی تمہارے ساتھ اور مرنا بھی تمہارے ساتھ ہے۔ یہ سن کر انصار روتے ہوئے دوڑے اور کہنے لگے کہ اللہ کی قسم ہم نے جو کہا محض اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی حرص کر کے کہا (یعنی ہمارا مطلب تھا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہمارا ساتھ نہ چھوڑیں اور ہمارے شہر ہی میں رہیں)۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ بیشک اللہ اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتمہاری تصدیق کرتے ہیں اور تمہارا عذر قبول کرتے ہیں۔ پھر لوگ (جان بچانے کے لئے) ابوسفیان کے گھر کو چلے گئے اور لوگوں نے اپنے دروازے بند کر لئے اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمحجراسود کے پاس تشریف لائے اور اس کو چوما، پھر خانہ کعبہ کا طواف کیا (اگرچہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماحرام سے نہ تھے کیونکہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سر پر خود تھا) پھر ایک بت کے پاس آئے جو کعبہ کی ایک طرف رکھا تھا اور لوگ اس کو پوجا کرتے تھے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہاتھ میں کمان تھی اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماس کا کونا تھامے ہوئے تھے جب بت کے پاس آئے تو اس کی آنکھ میں چبھونے لگے اور فرمانے لگے کہ”حق آ گیا اور باطل مٹ گیا“جب طواف سے فارغ ہوئے تو صفا پہاڑ پر آئے اور اس پر چڑھے یہاں تک کہ کعبہ کو دیکھا اور دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے پھر اللہ تعالیٰ کی تعریف کرنے لگے اور دعا کرنے لگے جو دعا اللہ نے چاہی۔ (الاسراء: 81)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1182]
