Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade coming to one's home at night to catch the household in some theft or treachery or to search out their faults (because in this there is, first, an evil suspicion, which is forbidden in the Shari'ah; second, it is a cause of breaking the woman's heart, and in it are hundreds of harms; third — God forbid — if something has happened, there is danger to one's own life). الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے رات کو اپنے گھر میں آنے سے، گھر والوں کی چوری یا خیانت پکڑنے کو یا ان کا قصور ڈھونڈھنے کو آنے سے منع فرمایا (کیونکہ اس میں ایک تو گمان بد ہے جو شریعت میں منع ہے دوسرے عورت کی دل شکنی کا باعث ہے اور اس میں سینکڑوں خرابیاں ہیں تیسرے اللہ نہ کرے اگر کچھ ہو تو اپنی جان کا خوف ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1118]
