Ubadah bin as-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took a pledge from us men in the same way as he took from the women, on these matters: that we would not associate anything with Allah, would not steal, would not commit adultery, would not kill our children, and would not fabricate slander against one another. "Then whoever among you fulfills the pledge, his reward is with Allah; and whoever among you commits a deed deserving a prescribed punishment and the punishment is imposed on him, that is the expiation for his sin. And whoever's sin Allah conceals, his affair is left to Allah: (on the Day of Resurrection Allah has the choice) that if He wills He may punish him, and if He wills He may forgive him." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1050]
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہم مردوں سے بھی ایسے ہی عہد لیا جیسے عورتوں سے لیا تھا، ان باتوں پر کہ ہم اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کریں گے، چوری نہ کریں گے، زنا نہ کریں گے، اپنی اولاد کو نہ ماریں گے، ایک دوسرے پر طوفان نہ جوڑیں گے۔ پھر جو کوئی تم میں سے عہد کو پورا کرے، اس کا ثواب اللہ تعالیٰ پر ہے اور جو تم میں سے کوئی حد کا کام کرے اور اس کو حد لگا دی جائے، تو وہی گناہ کا کفارہ ہے۔ اور جس کے گناہ پر اللہ تعالیٰ پردہ ڈال دے تو اس کا معاملہ اللہ کے سپرد ہے۔ (تو قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ کو اختیار ہے کہ) چاہے تو اس کو عذاب کرے اور چاہے تو بخش دے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1050]
