(Sulayman bin Yasar says:) It is narrated from one of the Ansari Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) upheld the qasamah (compurgation) in the same manner as it was in the time of ignorance. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1035]

(سیدنا سلیمان بن یسار کہتے ہیں کہ) رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے اصحاب میں سے ایک انصاری صحابی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے قسامت کو اسی طور پر باقی رکھا جیسے جاہلیت کے زمانہ میں تھی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1035]
