حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ التَّيْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كَهْمَسًا، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَرَادَ بَنُو سَلِمَةَ أَنْ يَتَحَوَّلُوا، إِلَى قُرْبِ الْمَسْجِدِ . - قَالَ - وَالْبِقَاعُ خَالِيَةٌ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " يَا بَنِي سَلِمَةَ دِيَارَكُمْ تُكْتَبْ آثَارُكُمْ " . فَقَالُوا مَا كَانَ يَسُرُّنَا أَنَّا كُنَّا تَحَوَّلْنَا .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Kahmas narrated from Abu Nadrah, from Hadrat Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: Banu Salimah decided to shift near the mosque — he said: and there were vacant plots (near the mosque). When this news reached the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he said: 'O people of Banu Salimah, stay in your houses, for your footsteps are recorded.' They said: We could not have been more delighted even by shifting (near the mosque) as we were delighted (on hearing these words from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
الترجمة الأردية
کہمس نے ابو نضرہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت کی، فرمایا: بنو سلمہ نے مسجد کے قریب منتقل ہونے کا ارادہ کیا — فرمایا: اور (مسجد کے قریب) جگہیں (بھی) خالی تھیں — نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو یہ خبر پہنچی تو آپ نے فرمایا: ''اے بنو سلمہ! اپنے گھروں میں رہو، تمھارے قدموں کے نشان لکھے جاتے ہیں۔'' تو انھوں نے فرمایا: (اس کے بعد) ہمیں یہ بات اچھی (بھی) نہ لگتی کہ ہم منتقل ہو چکے ہوتے۔
