وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، - وَهُوَ الْحَذَّاءُ - عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، قَالَ سَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي ثَلاَثِ رَكَعَاتٍ مِنَ الْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَدَخَلَ الْحُجْرَةَ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ بَسِيطُ الْيَدَيْنِ فَقَالَ أَقُصِرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . فَخَرَجَ مُغْضَبًا فَصَلَّى الرَّكْعَةَ الَّتِي كَانَ تَرَكَ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat 'Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated from Khalid al-Hadhdha', with the same chain, from Hadrat 'Imran ibn Husain (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) gave salutation at the third rak'ah of the 'Asr prayer, then got up and entered his apartment. A man with large hands stood up and submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), has the prayer been shortened? He then came out in a state of displeasure, prayed the rak'ah he had omitted, then pronounced salutation, then performed two prostrations of forgetfulness, then pronounced salutation.
الترجمة الأردية
عبد الوہاب ثقفی نے خالد حذاء سے باقی ماندہ اسی سند کے ساتھ حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے عصر کی تیسری رکعت میں سلام پھیر دیا، پھر اٹھ کر اپنے حجرے میں داخل ہو گئے، ایک (لمبے) چوڑے ہاتھوں والا آدمی کھڑا ہوا اور عرض کی: اے اللہ کے رسول! کیا نماز کم کر دی گئی ہے؟ پھر آپ غصے کے عالم میں نکلے اور چھوڑی ہوئی رکعت پڑھائی، پھر سلام پھیر دیا، پھر سہو کے دو سجدے کیے، پھر سلام پھیرا۔
