وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَلُّوا كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي أُصَلِّي فَإِذا حضرت الصَّلَاة فليؤذن لكم أحدكُم وليؤمكم أكبركم»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He also told of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saying to them, “Pray as you have seen me prayer, and when the time for prayer comes one of you should call the adhan for you and the oldest of you should act as imam.”* * In this tradition the plural is used throughout; in the preceding the dual is used, two persons being referred to. (Bukhari and Muslim.)
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت مالک بن حویرث رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہم سے فرمایا: اسی طرح نماز پڑھو جس طرح تم نے مجھے نماز پڑھتے دیکھا ہے، اور جب نماز کا وقت آئے تو تم میں سے ایک اذان دے اور تم میں سے جو سب سے بڑا ہو وہ امامت کرائے۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
