عَن ابْن عمر قَالَ: كُنَّا نَقُولُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَيٌّ: أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ رَضِي الله عَنْهُم. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There will come upon the people a time when groups of people will go out to fight, and they will be asked: 'Is there among you anyone who saw the Prophet?' And they will say: 'Yes,' and they will be given victory." Agreed upon.

ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی حیات مبارکہ میں ابوبکر، عمر اور عثمان رضی اللہ عنھم کہا کرتے تھے۔ صحیح، رواہ الترمذی۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 6085]
