وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَعَنَ اللَّهُ السارِقَ يسرقُ البيضةَ فتُقطعُ يَده وَيسْرق الْحَبل فتقطع يَده»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Huraira reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, “God curse a thief who steals an egg and has his hand cut off, and steals a rope and has his hand cut off!”* (Bukhari and Muslim.) *It has been suggested that baida (egg or steel helmet) should have the latter meaning and that a ship’s rope should be understood, but the translation above is usually accepted as the meaning.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ چور پر لعنت فرمائے جو انڈا چوری کرتا ہے پھر اس کا ہاتھ کاٹا جاتا ہے، اور رسی چوری کرتا ہے پھر اس کا ہاتھ کاٹا جاتا ہے۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
