وَعَنْ أَبِي عُمَيْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عُمُومَةٍ لَهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّ رَكْبًا جَاءُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّهُمْ رَأَوُا الْهِلَالَ بالْأَمْس ن فَأَمرهمْ أَن يفطروا وَإِذا أَصْبحُوا أَن يَغْدُو إِلَى مصلاهم. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu ‘Umair b. Anas told on the authority of some of his paternal uncles who were companions of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that some men came riding to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and testified that they had seen the new moon the previous day. He therefore commanded the people to break the fast and go out to their place of prayer in the morning. Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابو عمیر بن انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اپنے چچاؤں سے روایت کرتے ہیں جو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے صحابہ تھے کہ سواروں کا ایک قافلہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں آیا اور گواہی دی کہ انہوں نے کل عید کا چاند دیکھا ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں حکم دیا کہ روزہ افطار کریں اور صبح عیدگاہ جائیں۔ (ابو داؤد، نسائی، ابن ماجہ)
