الترجمة الإنجليزية
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was the best of people in character. One day he sent me on an errand, and I said: "By Allah, I will not go." But in my heart I intended to go and do what the Prophet had commanded. I went out and passed by some boys playing in the market. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came up behind me and took hold of the back of my neck. I looked at him and he was smiling. He said: "O Unays, did you go where I told you to go?" I said: "Yes, I am going, O Messenger of Allah."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ کبھی ایسا نہیں ہوا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کسی نے کوئی چیز مانگی ہو اور آپ نے اس کے دینے سے انکار کیا ہو۔[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الفضائل/حدیث: 1493]
