أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Shaddad ibn Aws (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «The master of prayers for forgiveness is that the servant says: 'O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I am upon Your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.' Whoever says this during the day with certainty and dies that day before evening, he will be among the people of Paradise. And whoever says it at night with certainty and dies before morning, he will be among the people of Paradise.»
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت شداد بن اوس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «استغفار کی سردار دعا یہ ہے کہ بندہ کہے: 'اللہم انت ربی لا الٰہ الا انت، خلقتنی وانا عبدک، وانا علی عہدک ووعدک ما استطعت، اعوذ بک من شر ما صنعت، ابوء لک بنعمتک علی وابوء بذنبی، فاغفر لی فانہ لا یغفر الذنوب الا انت۔' جس نے دن میں یہ یقین کے ساتھ کہا اور شام سے پہلے فوت ہو گیا تو وہ جنت والوں میں سے ہوگا اور جس نے رات کو یقین کے ساتھ کہا اور صبح سے پہلے فوت ہو گیا تو وہ جنت والوں میں سے ہوگا۔»
