أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «حُفَّتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ وَحُفَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad bin Ishaq bin Khuzaymah narrated to us, Ya'qub bin Ibrahim al-Dawraqi narrated to us, my father narrated to us from Salih bin Kaysan from Ibn Shihab that Anas bin Malik narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Every religion has a characteristic, and the characteristic of Islam is modesty.'
