أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا نَظَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى مَنْ فُضِّلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالْخَلْقِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْهُ مِمَّنْ فُضِّلَ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Khuzaymah narrated to us, Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us from Muhammad from Abu Hurayra from the Prophet (ﷺ) who said: 'Faith has over seventy - or over sixty - branches. The most excellent of them is saying La ilaha illa Allah, and the least of them is removing harmful things from the path. And modesty is a branch of faith.'
