أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو بِالْفُسْطَاطِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْحَاقُ مَوْلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ نَوْفَلٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَحْسُرَ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ تَلٍّ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَيَقْتَتِلُ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَيُقْتَلُ تِسْعَةُ أَعْشَارِهِمْ»

Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Amr in Fustat informed us, Ishaq ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Ala' al-Zubaydi narrated to us, Amr ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Salim narrated to us from al-Zubaydi who said: Muhammad ibn Muslim informed me, Ishaq, the freed slave of al-Mughirah ibn Nawfal, informed me that al-Mughirah ibn Nawfal informed him from Ubayy ibn Ka'b who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until the Euphrates uncovers a mound of gold, and people will fight over it. Nine-tenths of them will be killed."
