أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ وَقَعَدَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَي عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ فَرَطٌ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْكُمْ لَشَهِيدٌ وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بَعْدِي وَلَكِنِّي قَدْ أُعْطِيتُ اللَّيْلَةَ مَفَاتِيحَ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَأَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَنَافَسُوا فِيهَا» ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَلَمْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا وَكَانَتْ آخِرُ خُطْبَةٍ خَطَبَهَا حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا

Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us: 'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-'Azim narrated to us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf, from Abdullah ibn Abbas, who said: Khalid ibn al-Walid and the Prophet ﷺ entered upon his maternal aunt Maymunah, and she served them roasted mastigure that her sister Hufaydah bint al-Harith had brought from Najd. The Prophet ﷺ reached out his hand to eat, but one of the women who was present said: Tell him what he is about to eat. So they told him it was mastigure. He withdrew his hand. Khalid said: Is it forbidden, O Messenger of Allah? He said: 'No, but it is not found in the land of my people, so I find myself averse to it.' Khalid said: So I pulled it towards me and ate it while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was looking.
