أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «قَالَ اللَّهُ يَسُبُّ ابْنُ آدَمَ الدَّهْرَ وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ بِيَدِي اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ»

Abu Khalifah narrated to us, Abu al-Walid al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah informed us from Nasr ibn Asim, from Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «I am not one of them and they are not of me: those who seek omens from the flight of birds, those who have omens sought for them, and those who practice magic.»
