أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنِ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَدَعَا غُلَامَهُ وَرَّادًا فَقَالَ اكْتُبْ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنْ وَأْدِ الْبَنَاتِ وَعُقُوقِ الْأُمَّهَاتِ وَعَنْ مَنْعٍ وَهَاتِ وَعَنْ قِيلَ وَقَالَ وَكَثْرَةِ السُّؤَالِ وَإِضَاعَةِ الْمَالِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Ya'la informed us, he said: Khalaf ibn Hisham al-Bazzar narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Asim, from al-Sha'bi, that Mu'awiya wrote to al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba asking him to write to him something he heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So he wrote to him: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say after every obligatory prayer: There is no deity except Allah alone with no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs the praise, and He is capable of all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and no wealth of a wealthy person can benefit him against You.'
