Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that Hadrat Abu Talhah (may Allah be well pleased with him) saw the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in a state of hunger. He came to Umm Sulaym and said: Do you have anything? She said: We have nothing except about a mudd (a measure) of barley flour. He said: Knead it and prepare it; perhaps we can invite the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to eat at our place. She kneaded and baked it into a round loaf. He said: Call the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) for me. So I went to the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who had some people with him -- Mubarak ibn Fadalah estimated about eighty-some. I said: O Messenger of Allah, Abu Talhah invites you. He said to his Companions: "Answer Abu Talhah." I came running ahead and informed him that the Prophet had come with his Companions. Bakr said: He gave me a light slap. And Thabit said: Abu Talhah said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) knows better what is in my house than I do. Both narrated from Anas: Abu Talhah met him and said: O Messenger of Allah, we have nothing except a single loaf. I saw you were hungry and ordered Umm Sulaym to make it into a loaf. He called for the loaf and asked for a bowl, placed it in it, and said: "Is there any ghee?" Abu Talhah said there was a little in the ghee skin. He brought it, and the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and Abu Talhah squeezed it until something came out. The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) rubbed his forefinger with it, then rubbed the loaf, and it swelled. He said: "Bismillah (in the name of Allah)." The loaf continued to swell. He kept doing this and the loaf kept swelling until I saw it flowing in the bowl. He stated: "Call ten of my Companions." I called ten for him. The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) placed his hand in the center of the loaf and said: "Eat, in the name of Allah." They ate from around the loaf until they were satisfied. Then he said: "Call another ten for me." He kept calling ten at a time who would eat from that loaf, until eighty-some ate from around it and were satisfied, while the center of the loaf where the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had placed his hand remained as it was.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابو طلحہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو بھوکا دیکھا۔ وہ اُمّ سلیم کے پاس آئے اور کہا: تمہارے پاس کچھ ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہمارے پاس تقریباً ایک مُد جو کا آٹا ہے بس۔ فرمایا: اسے گوندھو اور تیار کرو، شاید ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو بلائیں تو آپ ہمارے ہاں تناول فرمائیں۔ انہوں نے گوندھا اور پکایا تو ایک روٹی بنی۔ فرمایا: میرے لیے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو بلاؤ۔ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور آپ کے ساتھ لوگ تھے -- مبارک بن فضالہ کا اندازہ ہے کہ اسی سے زائد۔ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ابو طلحہ آپ کو بلاتے ہیں۔ آپ نے صحابہ سے فرمایا: ابو طلحہ کی دعوت قبول کرو۔ میں تیزی سے آ کر انہیں بتایا کہ آپ صحابہ سمیت تشریف لا رہے ہیں۔ بکر نے کہا: انہوں نے مجھے ہلکی سی تھپکی دی۔ اور ثابت نے کہا: ابو طلحہ نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم میرے گھر کا حال مجھ سے زیادہ جانتے ہیں۔ دونوں نے انس سے روایت کیا: ابو طلحہ آپ کے استقبال کو آئے اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہمارے پاس ایک روٹی کے سوا کچھ نہیں۔ میں نے آپ کو بھوکا دیکھا تو اُمّ سلیم سے کہا اور انہوں نے یہ روٹی بنائی۔ آپ نے روٹی منگوائی اور ایک پیالہ منگوایا اور اس میں رکھا اور پوچھا: کچھ گھی ہے؟ ابو طلحہ نے فرمایا: مشکیزے میں تھوڑا سا تھا۔ وہ لائے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور ابو طلحہ نے اسے نچوڑا یہاں تک کہ کچھ نکلا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنی شہادت کی انگلی اس سے مسی اور پھر روٹی پر ملا تو وہ پھول گئی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: بسم اللہ۔ روٹی پھولتی رہی۔ آپ یہی کرتے رہے اور روٹی پھولتی رہی یہاں تک کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ روٹی پیالے میں بہ رہی ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: میرے دس صحابہ کو بلاؤ۔ میں نے دس کو بلایا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ روٹی کے بیچ میں رکھا اور فرمایا: بسم اللہ کہہ کر کھاؤ۔ انہوں نے روٹی کے اطراف سے کھایا یہاں تک کہ سیر ہو گئے۔ پھر فرمایا: دس اور بلاؤ۔ آپ دس دس بلاتے رہے وہ اس روٹی سے کھاتے رہے یہاں تک کہ اسی سے زائد لوگوں نے اس روٹی کے اطراف سے کھایا اور سیر ہوئے جبکہ روٹی کا بیچ جہاں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہاتھ رکھا تھا ویسا کا ویسا تھا۔
