أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَيُّمَا قَرْيَةٍ عَصَتِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ خُمُسَهَا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ هِيَ لَكُمْ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Ka'b ibn Ujrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) went out to them, and they were nine — or seven or eight. He stated: «Will you not pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah?» They had recently pledged allegiance to him, so they said: We have already pledged allegiance to you, O Messenger of Allah. Then he stated a second time: «Will you not pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah?» They had recently pledged allegiance to him, so they said: We have already pledged allegiance to you, O Messenger of Allah. Then he stated a third time: «Will you not pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah?» We extended our hands and said: We have already pledged allegiance to you, O Messenger of Allah, so to what shall we pledge allegiance? He stated: «That you worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, and establish the five prayers, and hear and obey.» And he said it in a low voice: «And do not ask people for anything.» Ka'b said: I saw some of those people — if the whip fell from the hand of one of them, he would not ask anyone to hand it to him.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت کعب بن عجرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ان کے پاس تشریف لائے اور وہ نو تھے — یا سات یا آٹھ۔ آپ نے فرمایا: «کیا تم رسول اللہ سے بیعت نہیں کرو گے؟» انہوں نے ابھی آپ سے بیعت کی تھی تو انہوں نے کہا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم آپ سے بیعت کر چکے ہیں۔ پھر آپ نے دوسری بار فرمایا: «کیا تم رسول اللہ سے بیعت نہیں کرو گے؟» انہوں نے ابھی آپ سے بیعت کی تھی تو انہوں نے کہا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم آپ سے بیعت کر چکے ہیں۔ پھر آپ نے تیسری بار فرمایا: «کیا تم رسول اللہ سے بیعت نہیں کرو گے؟» ہم نے اپنے ہاتھ بڑھائے اور کہا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم آپ سے بیعت کر چکے ہیں، اب کس چیز پر بیعت کریں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: «کہ تم اللہ کی عبادت کرو اور اس کے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہ ٹھہراؤ، پانچ نمازیں قائم کرو، سنو اور اطاعت کرو۔» اور آہستہ آواز میں فرمایا: «اور لوگوں سے کچھ نہ مانگو۔» کعب نے کہا: میں نے ان لوگوں میں سے بعض کو دیکھا — اگر ان میں سے کسی کے ہاتھ سے کوڑا گر جاتا تو وہ کسی سے اسے اٹھانے کے لیے نہیں کہتا تھا۔
