Hadrat Malik ibn Sa'sa'ah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told them about the night of the Night Journey. He stated: "While I was in al-Hatim — or perhaps he said in al-Hijr — someone came to me and split open from here to here." I asked al-Jarud, who was beside me, 'What does he mean?' He said: 'From the hollow of his throat to below his navel.' He stated: "My heart was extracted, then I was brought a golden basin filled with faith and wisdom. My heart was washed, then filled, and then I was brought a riding beast smaller than a mule and larger than a donkey, white." Al-Jarud said: 'Is that al-Buraq, O Abu Hamzah?' Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: 'Yes, its stride reached the furthest extent of its sight. I was mounted upon it and Jibril (upon him be peace) took me until we reached the first heaven. He sought entry, and it was asked: Who is this? He said: Jibril. It was asked: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). It was asked: Has he been sent for? He said: Yes. It was said: Welcome to him, what an excellent arrival! It was opened. When I reached it, therein was Adam. He said: This is your father Adam, greet him. I greeted him and he returned the greeting, then said: Welcome to the righteous son and the righteous Prophet. Then he ascended with me to the second heaven and sought entry. It was asked: Who is this? He said: Jibril. It was asked: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was asked: Has he been sent for? He said: Yes. It was said: Welcome to him, what an excellent arrival! It was opened. When I reached it, there were Yahya and Isa (upon them be peace), who are cousins. He said: These are Yahya and Isa, greet them. I greeted them and they returned the greeting, then they said: Welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous Prophet. Then he ascended with me to the third heaven. When I reached it, there was Yusuf (upon him be peace). He said: This is Yusuf, greet him. I greeted him and he returned the greeting, then said: Welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous Prophet. Then he ascended with me to the fourth heaven. When I reached it, there was Idris (upon him be peace). He said: This is Idris, greet him. I greeted him and he returned the greeting, then said: Welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous Prophet.'
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت مالک بن صعصعہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے شبِ معراج کے بارے میں بیان فرمایا: "میں حطیم میں تھا — یا شاید فرمایا حجر میں — کہ ایک آنے والا آیا اور یہاں سے یہاں تک چیرا۔" میں نے جارود سے جو میرے پہلو میں تھے پوچھا: 'اس سے کیا مراد ہے؟' انہوں نے کہا: 'گلے کے گڑھے سے ناف کے نیچے تک۔' آپ نے فرمایا: "میرا دل نکالا گیا، پھر سونے کا طشت لایا گیا جو ایمان اور حکمت سے بھرا ہوا تھا۔ میرا دل دھویا گیا پھر بھرا گیا۔ پھر میرے لیے ایک سواری لائی گئی جو خچر سے چھوٹی اور گدھے سے بڑی تھی، سفید رنگ کی۔" جارود نے کہا: 'کیا وہ بُراق ہے اے ابو حمزہ؟' حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: 'ہاں، اس کا ایک قدم اس کی نظر کی آخری حد تک پڑتا تھا۔ مجھے اس پر سوار کیا گیا اور جبریل علیہ السلام مجھے لے کر آسمانِ دنیا تک آئے۔ دروازہ کھلوایا، پوچھا گیا: کون ہے؟ کہا: جبریل۔ پوچھا: آپ کے ساتھ کون ہے؟ کہا: محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم۔ پوچھا: کیا انہیں بلایا گیا ہے؟ کہا: ہاں۔ کہا گیا: خوش آمدید، کیا اچھی آمد ہے! دروازہ کھول دیا گیا۔ جب میں اندر پہنچا تو آدم علیہ السلام تھے۔ فرمایا: یہ تمہارے والد آدم ہیں، انہیں سلام کرو۔ میں نے سلام کیا تو انہوں نے جواب دیا پھر فرمایا: خوش آمدید نیک بیٹے اور نیک نبی کو۔ پھر مجھے دوسرے آسمان تک لے گئے۔ دروازہ کھلوایا، پوچھا: کون ہے؟ کہا: جبریل۔ پوچھا: آپ کے ساتھ کون ہے؟ کہا: محمد۔ پوچھا: کیا بلایا گیا ہے؟ کہا: ہاں۔ کہا: خوش آمدید، کیا اچھی آمد! کھول دیا۔ جب میں اندر پہنچا تو یحییٰ اور عیسیٰ علیہما السلام تھے جو خالہ زاد بھائی ہیں۔ فرمایا: یہ یحییٰ اور عیسیٰ ہیں، سلام کرو۔ میں نے سلام کیا تو دونوں نے جواب دیا پھر فرمایا: خوش آمدید نیک بھائی اور نیک نبی کو۔ پھر تیسرے آسمان تک لے گئے۔ وہاں یوسف علیہ السلام تھے۔ فرمایا: یہ یوسف ہیں، سلام کرو۔ میں نے سلام کیا تو جواب دیا پھر فرمایا: خوش آمدید نیک بھائی اور نیک نبی کو۔ پھر چوتھے آسمان تک لے گئے۔ وہاں ادریس علیہ السلام تھے۔ فرمایا: یہ ادریس ہیں، سلام کرو۔ میں نے سلام کیا تو جواب دیا پھر فرمایا: خوش آمدید نیک بھائی اور نیک نبی کو۔'
