أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْغَسَّانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْكِنْدِيِّ قَالَ بَيْنَا أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ يَوْمًا يَسِيرُ شَاذًّا مِنَ الْجَيْشِ إِذْ لَقِيَهُ رَجُلَانِ شَاذَانِ مِنَ الْجَيْشِ فَقَالَ يَا هَذَانِ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ ثَلَاثَةٌ فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا الْمَكَانِ إِلَّا أُمَّرُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَلْيَتَأَمَّرْ أَحَدُكُمْ قَالَا أَنْتَ يَا أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ بَلْ أَنْتُمَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ وَالِي ثَلَاثَةٍ إِلَّا لَقِيَ اللَّهَ مَغْلُولَةَ يَمِينُهُ فَكَّهُ عَدْلُهُ أَوْ غَلَّهُ جَورُهُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Qutaybah and Al-Hasan bin Sufyan narrated to us, they both said: Ibrahim bin Hisham Al-Ghassani narrated to us, saying: Sa'id bin Abdul-Aziz narrated to us from Amr bin Qais Al-Sakuni from Adi bin Adi Al-Kindi, who said: While Abu Al-Darda was traveling alone away from the army one day, he met two men who were also alone away from the army. He said: O you two, whenever there are three people in a place like this, they should appoint a leader over themselves, so let one of you be the leader. They said: You, O Abu Al-Darda. He said: Rather you two, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "There is no guardian of three people except that he will meet Allah with his right hand shackled - his justice will free it or his injustice will bind it."
