أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ ذَكَرْنَا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كَمْ مَضَى مِنَ الشَّهْرِ؟ » فَقُلْنَا مَضَى اثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ يَوْمًا وَبَقِيَ ثَمَانٌ فَقَالَ ﷺ «لَا بَلْ مَضَى اثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ يَوْمًا وَبَقِيَ سَبْعٌ الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ يَوْمًا فَالْتَمِسُوهَا اللَّيْلَةَ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made a retreat during the first ten days of Ramadan. Then he made a retreat during the middle ten days in a Turkish tent. Then he stuck his head out from the tent and said: 'I made a retreat during the first ten days seeking this night. Then I made a retreat during the middle ten days. Then someone came to me and I was told: It is in the last ten days. Whoever among you wants to make a retreat, let him make a retreat.' So the people made a retreat with him. He said: 'I was shown it on an odd night, and I was shown myself prostrating in water and mud on its morning.' On the morning of the twenty-first, it rained, and the mosque leaked. I saw with my own eyes the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) leaving after completing the dawn prayer with his face covered in water and mud.
