أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمَذَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا تَشَهَّدَ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ لَا يُجَاوِزُ بَصَرُهُ إِشَارَتَهُ»

Ibn Khuzaymah informed us, saying: Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us, saying: Jarir narrated to us from Asim ibn Kulayyb from his father that Wa'il ibn Hujar narrated to him, he said: 'I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he sat in the prayer, placed his left foot under him and rested on his left leg, and placed his right hand on his right thigh, and his left hand on his left thigh. And he pointed with his forefinger.'
