Umar ibn Muhammad al-Hamdani informed us, saying: Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, saying: Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us from al-A'mash from Zayd ibn Wahb, who said: Hudhayfah saw a man at the gates of Kindah pecking (in prayer), so he said: 'How long have you been praying this prayer?' He said: 'For forty years.' He said: 'If you die, you will die upon other than the natural disposition upon which Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was created. Indeed, a man may pray quickly yet complete the bowing and prostration properly.'
