أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَعَلْقَمَةُ عَلَى ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ لَنَا أَصَلَّى هَؤُلَاءِ؟ فَقُلْنَا لَا قَالَ فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا فَذَهَبْنَا لِنَقُومَ خَلْفَهُ «فَجَعَلَ أَحَدَنَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَالْآخَرَ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ فَصَلَّى بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ فَجَعَلَ إِذَا رَكَعَ شَبَّكَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَجَعَلَهَا بَيْنَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ» فَلَمَّا صَلَّى قَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي وَقَالَ «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يُمِيتُونَ الصَّلَاةَ يَخْنُقُونَهَا إِلَى شَرَقِ الْمَوْتَى فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيُصَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَلْيَجْعَلْ صَلَاتَهُ مَعَهُمْ سُبْحَةً»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Aswad said: I and 'Alqamah entered upon Ibn Mas'ud, and he said to us, 'Did these people pray?' We said, 'No.' He said, 'Then stand and pray.' We went to stand behind him, but he placed one of us on his right and the other on his left, and prayed without adhan or iqamah. When he bowed, he interlaced his fingers in the prayer and placed them between his knees. When he prayed, he said, 'This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pray.' And he said: 'O people, there will be rulers over you who will kill the prayer, choking it to the time of the dead. Whoever among you reaches that, let him pray the prayer at its proper time and make his prayer with them voluntary.'
