أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُكَيْمَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ انْصَرَفَ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ جَهَرَ فِيهَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ فَقَالَ «هَلْ قَرَأَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ آنِفًا؟ » فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ نَعَمْ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ؟ » فَانْتَهَى النَّاسُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِيمَا جَهَرَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حِينَ سَمِعُوا ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished from a prayer in which he recited aloud, and said: 'Did any of you recite just now?' A man said, 'Yes, I did, O Messenger of Allah.' The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'I was about to say: Why am I being contended with in the Qur'an?' So the people stopped reciting in the prayers in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited aloud when they heard that from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
