Hadrat Uthman ibn Abi al-As (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) state: The Muslims will have three cities: a city at the meeting of the two seas, a city in the peninsula, and a city in Sham. People will be alarmed three times. The Dajjal will emerge with a great army and defeat those from the direction of the east. The first city to resist him will be the one at the meeting of the two seas. Its people will split into three groups: one that stays saying 'let us observe him and see what he is'; one that joins the desert Arabs; and one that joins the city next to them. Then he will come to the next city, and its people will also split into three groups. Then he will come to Sham, and the Muslims will retreat to the pass of Afiq. They will send their livestock out to graze but it will be seized. Severe hunger and hardship will afflict them, until one of them will burn his bowstring and eat it. While they are in this state, a caller will call before dawn: O people, relief has come to you! Some will say to others: This is the voice of a well-fed man. Then Isa ibn Maryam (upon him be peace and blessings) will descend at the time of Fajr prayer. The leader of the people will say to him: Come forward, O Spirit of Allah, and lead us in prayer. He will say: You, the people of this Ummah, are leaders over one another — you come forward and pray. So he will lead them in prayer. When he finishes, Isa (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will take his spear toward the Dajjal. When the Dajjal sees him, he will melt as lead melts. His spear will strike between his chest and he will kill him. Then his followers will be routed, and nothing on that day will shelter any of them — even a stone will say: O believer, this is a disbeliever, so kill him. This hadith has a sound chain upon the condition of Muslim, and they did not narrate it.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت عثمان بن ابی العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: مسلمانوں کے تین شہر ہوں گے: ایک شہر دو سمندروں کے ملاپ پر، ایک جزیرے میں اور ایک شام میں۔ لوگ تین بار گھبرائیں گے۔ دجال ایک بڑے لشکر میں نکلے گا اور مشرق والوں کو شکست دے گا۔ سب سے پہلے اسے روکنے والا شہر دو سمندروں کے ملاپ والا ہوگا۔ اس کے لوگ تین گروہوں میں بٹ جائیں گے: ایک ٹھہرے گا اور کہے گا کہ دیکھیں یہ کیا ہے؛ ایک صحرائی عربوں سے جا ملے گا؛ اور ایک اگلے شہر سے جا ملے گا۔ پھر وہ اگلے شہر آئے گا اور اس کے لوگ بھی تین گروہوں میں بٹ جائیں گے۔ پھر وہ شام آئے گا اور مسلمان عقبۂ افیق کی طرف پیچھے ہٹیں گے۔ وہ اپنے مویشی چرنے بھیجیں گے لیکن وہ پکڑ لیے جائیں گے۔ شدید بھوک اور تکلیف ان پر آئے گی یہاں تک کہ ایک شخص اپنی کمان کی تانت جلا کر کھائے گا۔ اسی حال میں سحر کے وقت ایک پکارنے والا پکارے گا: اے لوگو! تمہاری مدد آ گئی! کچھ کہیں گے: یہ تو کسی پیٹ بھرے شخص کی آواز ہے۔ پھر حضرت عیسیٰ ابن مریم علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام فجر کی نماز کے وقت اتریں گے۔ لوگوں کا امام ان سے کہے گا: آگے آئیں اے روح اللہ اور ہمیں نماز پڑھائیں۔ وہ فرمائیں گے: تم اس امت کے لوگ ایک دوسرے پر امیر ہو — تم آگے بڑھو اور نماز پڑھاؤ۔ وہ آگے بڑھے گا اور نماز پڑھائے گا۔ جب فارغ ہوگا تو حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام اپنا نیزہ لے کر دجال کی طرف بڑھیں گے۔ جب دجال انہیں دیکھے گا تو اس طرح پگھلے گا جیسے سیسہ پگھلتا ہے۔ آپ کا نیزہ اس کے سینے کے بیچ میں لگے گا اور اسے قتل کر دیں گے۔ پھر اس کے ساتھی بھاگیں گے اور اس دن کوئی چیز ان میں سے کسی کو نہ بچائے گی، یہاں تک کہ پتھر کہے گا: اے مومن! یہ کافر ہے، اسے مار ڈال۔ یہ حدیث مسلم کی شرط پر صحیح الاسناد ہے اور انہوں نے روایت نہیں کیا۔
