حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ «صَلَّى بِنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي كُسُوفٍ لَا نَسْمَعُ لَهُ صَوْتًا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: "The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) led us in prayer during an eclipse, and we could not hear his voice" — meaning he recited silently. This is an authentic hadith meeting the criteria of al-Bukhari and Muslim, though they did not narrate it.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: «نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہمیں گرہن کی نماز پڑھائی اور ہم آپ کی آواز نہیں سن رہے تھے» — یعنی آہستہ قراءت فرمائی۔ یہ حدیث صحیح ہے شیخین کی شرط پر مگر انہوں نے اسے نہیں نکالا۔
