وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: { كَانَ اَلْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -. فَجَاءَتِ اِمْرَأَةٌ مَنْ خَثْعَمَ، فَجَعَلَ اَلْفَضْلُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا وَتَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ، وَجَعَلَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَصْرِفُ وَجْهَ اَلْفَضْلِ إِلَى اَلشِّقِّ اَلْآخَرِ. فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ, إِنَّ فَرِيضَةَ اَللَّهِ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ فِي اَلْحَجِّ أَدْرَكَتْ أَبِي شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا, لَا يَثْبُتُ عَلَى اَلرَّاحِلَةِ, أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ? قَالَ: " نَعَمْ " وَذَلِكَ فِي حَجَّةِ اَلْوَدَاعِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ, وَاللَفْظُ لِلْبُخَارِيِّ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 1513 )، ومسلم ( 1334 ).
الترجمة الإنجليزية
lbn ’Abbas (RAA) narrated that ‘Al-Fadl Ibn ’Abbas was riding behind the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when a woman from the tribe of Khath‘am came along, and al-Fadl started looking at her and she also started looking at him. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) kept on turning al-Fadl’s face to the other side. She said, ‘O Beloved Messenger of Allah! Allah has prescribed Hajj for His servants, and it has become due on my father who is an old man, who cannot sit stable on his mount. Shall I perform Hajj on his behalf?’ the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) responded, “Yes, you may." This incident took place during the Farewell Pilgrimage of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Agreed upon, and the wording is from Al·Bukhari’.
الترجمة الأردية
اور انہی (حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما) سے مروی ہے: فضل بن عباس رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پیچھے سوار تھے۔ خثعم قبیلے کی ایک عورت آئی اور فضل اس کی طرف دیکھنے لگے اور وہ فضل کی طرف دیکھنے لگی۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم فضل کا چہرہ دوسری طرف پھیرنے لگے۔ عورت نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اللہ تعالیٰ کا حج کا فریضہ میرے والد پر فرض ہو چکا ہے جبکہ وہ بوڑھے ہیں اور سواری پر بیٹھ نہیں سکتے، کیا میں ان کی طرف سے حج کروں؟ فرمایا: ہاں۔ یہ حجۃ الوداع میں ہوا۔ (متفق علیہ)
