وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا, { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -كَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا, ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ, ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا, فَمَنْ أَنْبَأَك َ 1 أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ جَالِسًا, فَقَدْ كَذَبَ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 2 .1 - كذا بالأصلين، وفي مسلم: "نبأك".2 - صحيح. رواه مسلم (862) (35) وتمامه: فقد والله صليت معه أكثر من ألفي صلاة.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It is narrated by Hadrat Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to deliver the Khutbah (religious talk, sermon) while standing. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would then sit down and then stand up and deliver the Khutbah in a standing posture. So, whoever informs you that he delivered the Khutbah (religious talk, sermon) while sitting has definitely told a lie. .
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیا کرتے تھے، پھر بیٹھتے، پھر کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے۔ پس جس نے تجھے بتایا کہ آپ بیٹھ کر خطبہ دیتے تھے تو اس نے جھوٹ بولا۔
