Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) appointed a man from the tribe of Banu Sulaym to collect the Zakah. The man was called Ibn al-Lutbiyyah. When he returned, the Prophet (peace be upon him) held him to account.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابو حمید ساعدی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے (قبیلہ) بنی سلیم کے صدقات وصول کرنے کے لیے ایک شخص کو مقرر کیا۔ اس شخص کو ابن لتبیتہ کہتے تھے پھر جب وہ (صدقات وصول کر کے) واپس آیا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس سے حساب لیا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 764]
