Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When the bier is placed and men carry it on their shoulders, if the deceased was righteous, it says: 'Take me forward quickly!' And if it was not righteous, it says: 'Woe to me! Where are you taking me?' Everything hears its voice except human beings, and if a human being heard it, he would faint."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جب جنازہ رکھ دیا جاتا ہے اور اسے مرد اپنی گردنوں پر اٹھا لیتے ہیں تو اگر وہ صالح ہوتا ہے تو کہتا ہے کہ مجھے جلدی لے چلو اور اگر صالح نہیں ہوتا تو کہتا ہے کہ میری خرابی ہے مجھے کہاں لیے جاتے ہو، اس کی آواز ہر چیز سنتی ہے سوائے انسان کے اور اگر انسان اس کو سن پائے تو بیہوش ہو کر گر پڑے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 668]
