Al-Bara' ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "When the Prophet (peace be upon him) said 'Sami' Allahu liman hamidah' (Allah hears the one who praises Him), none of us would bend his back (for sajdah) until the Prophet (peace be upon him) had gone into prostration. Then we would prostrate after him."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا براء (بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ) نے بیان کیا کہجب نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسمع اﷲ لمن حمدہ کہتے تو ہم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنی پیٹھ اس وقت تک نہ جھکاتا جب تک کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسجدہ میں نہ چلے جاتے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے بعد ہم لوگ سجدے میں جاتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 411]
