Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) drew some lines (similar to the figure of the previous hadith) and said: "This (line extending out from the circle) is the likeness of man's hope; he remains preoccupied with that hope until death comes to him."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے چند خطوط (مثل شکل حدیث اول) کھینچے اور فرمایا:”یہ (دائرہ سے نکلتا ہوا خط انسان کی) آرزو کی مثال ہے، وہ اسی آرزو میں سرگرداں رہتا ہے کہ موت آ جاتی ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2094]
