Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "Use Indian aloeswood (ud hindi), for it is a cure for seven diseases. It is inserted into the nose for the disease of udhrah (throat swelling, i.e., diphtheria) and placed in the mouth for pain in the side." (And the rest of the hadith has already been mentioned.)
